Field Project Manager- Northern California

 

Position Summary

The Field Project Manager is a key, customer-facing operational role, responsible for providing full, integrated support services to our clients. As a key point of contact, the Field Project Manager will be involved with the client from the beginning, assessing their site power requirements, providing estimates, sourcing, vetting, and scheduling vendors, providing facility reporting, and troubleshooting as required. Our Field Project Managers provide exceptional service and value to our clients by providing turnkey project management for all critical power requirements.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

 

  • Meet with clients onsite to complete needs assessment

  • Develop estimates and quotes for clients

  • Source and validate vendors

  • Schedule all required work on site with subcontractors, and follow up to make sure work is completed

  • Create reporting metrics and dashboards for clients

  • Ensure billing requirements are met ad billing is completed in a timely and accurate function

  • Optimize revenue opportunities on all accounts

  • Engage in ongoing relationship development with clients

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

This role oversees subcontractors and non-employees and may supervise administrative support staff.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Project management, project coordination, construction management, and electrical theory

  • Strong organization skills and work ethic, requiring minimal supervision.

  • Able to interact and communicate with suppliers, internal customers, and vendors with tact and diplomacy and in accordance with the company customer service philosophy.

  • Proven ability to provide meticulous attention to detail while meeting aggressive deadlines.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

  • Above average attention to detail.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional professional judgment and work ethic.

  • Ability to work as a member of a high performing team as a strong team player.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Five or more years of experience in a field project management or superintendent role

  • Previous experience tracking budget expenses and creating customer reports

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Drive Platform, MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Prior work history to include vendor/subcontractor management

  • Previous experience in customer facing field management and business development roles

  • Construction field management experience a plus

  • Electrical project experience strongly preferred
